He was predeceased by: his parents, David Clifford and Emma Clifford; his wife Lillian; his son Charles; his brother Gregory Clifford; and his grandson David.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Carter, Diane Buehler and Wayne Robert Carter (Teri); his siblings, Dennis Clifford, James Clifford, Denise Emel, Adam Clifford and Brian Clifford; his grandchildren, Wayne (Sharilyn), Christina, Alyssa (Jonathan), Joshua, Heather, Nicole, Anthony, Mark, Natalie, Bobby and Jason (Kristy); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Caleb, Christian, Charis, Chiera, Cash, Jordan, Ryley, Lia, Jeremy, A'lynn, Brooklynn, Kayla, Sienna, Camilla, Antonella, Everly, Tristan and Owen.
The family has suggested that donations in Waynes's memory should be made to either the Elks Lodge #733, 642 Garton Rd., Bridgeton, NJ 08302 or the Frank D. Sayre VFW Post 1259, PO Box 352, Elmer, NJ 08318.
