He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dutch and English; his wife Debra Barsotti Smith; his sister Suellen Smith Mader of Sonoma, CA; his daughters, Abigail Smith Wentworth (Philip) of Old Greenwich, CT and Lisa Barsotti of Vineland, NJ; his mother-in-law Antoinette Barsotti; his siblings-in-law, James Barsotti, Glenn Barsotti (Kat), Anne Marie Barsotti and Donna Ollett (Mark); his uncle Vince DeLuca; his grandchildren, Claire Wentworth, Glenn Shaw, Maria Smith, Ethan Smith and Dara Smith; and his son Sheldon Vischer Smith, Jr.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
