He was predeceased by: his great grandchild Judah Christofi. He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Edgar and Gertrude Craver (Glass); his children, Roberta E. Hill (Jim), Debra A. Cromley (Roger) and Alan R. Craver; his sister Doris Newkirk; his grandchildren, Allison, Heather Hill, Melanie Goggans, Amy Hill, Stephen Hill, Michael, Lauren, Jonathan, David Craver, Josh Cromley and Ben Cromley; his great grandchildren, Katarina, Jonathan, Rachel, Josiah, Justin Christofi, Hadassah, Meredith, Victoria, Ivan and Conall Goggans; his daughter-in-law Melinda Craver; and also Thelma.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations can be made to Open Schools Worldwide, an international education organization serving at-risk children in Africa and around the globe.
