As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Smith and Elmeda Raines Smith; her former husband Vernon Cottrell; and her brothers, Ronald Smith and John Mark Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Timothy R. Freda; her children, Nicole Peachey (Greg) and Cristi Cottrell (Jim); her stepchildren, Timothy Freda (Renee) and Jaclyn Reed (Chris); and her sister Donna Jane Smith-Beckett. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Padgett Funeral Home (1107 NJ-77, Bridgeton, NJ 08302). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
