She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Dempsey and Sara Dempsey; and her sisters, Doris Simcox, Judy Weems and Joan Waldron.
She is survived by: her husband Fred J. Sweeney, Jr.; her children, Scott McGuire (Janet), Timothy McGuire, Brian McGuire (Kelly) and Ginger Quinn (Patrick); and her grandchildren, Shawn (Kayla), Brittany (Michael), Sara (Christopher), Taylor (Michael), Ryan, Ian, Jared, Jason, Molly (Aaron), Trevor, Cole, Alex, Blaize, Ashlynne and Maura. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelley Funeral Home (125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Eglington Cemetery (320 Kings Hwy, Clarksboro, NJ 08020).
