She was predeceased by: her husband Gerry. She is survived by: her daughters, Carol B. Kramme (Albert Randolph) and Linda K. Walker (Shawn); and her grandson Andrew Rowan Walker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joanne volunteered with the Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children, the American Cancer Society and South Jersey HospiceCare.
