With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jay L. Berman (Pitman, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jay L. Berman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Berman and Virginia Berman; his son Jeffrey Lance Berman; his grandsons, Jay and Justin; and his sister Mary Efymow.
He is survived by: his wife Norma M. Berman; his children, James Berman (Lori), Dawn Stern (Jerry), Justin Berman and Heather Bunch (Mike); his grandchildren, Ashley, Jared, Amanda (John), Erica (Parker), Tyler, Ligeia (Dakota), Larissa, Lathyn, Adalyn, Faith, Ethan, Michael and Ithan; and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Berman. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kelley Funeral Home (125 Pitman Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jay's name to the National Kidney Foundation.
