He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Mason; and his brother-in-law Jim Redfield. He is survived by: his wife Shuqin Liu; his stepson Peng Li; his stepgrandson David; his father John T. Mason; his sister Deborah Redfield; and his nieces, Danielle Hallinan (Matthew), Denise Redfield and Adrienne Legato (Jason).
