He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen M. O'Brien; his children, Brendan Ryan and Siobhan Ryan; his pet Murphy; his grandson Colin O'Keefe; his mother Joan Ryan (Garrity); and his cousins, Joan Dannenfelser, Kathy Sahlberg and John Riley.
