She was predeceased by: her parents, Jenny Salamone and Rocco Salamone; and her sons, Dominic and Rocco Desiderio (Elaine). She is survived by: her children, Denise D'Amico (Samuel), Joseph Desiderio (Sid), Darlene Allen (Michael), Deborah Collinsworth and Daniel Desiderio (Danielle); her grandchildren, Dion, Deanna (Robert), David (Rebecca), Dante, Joseph (Tammy), Alana (Travis), Dilan, Rocco, Melissa (Windy), Michael (Trisha), Gabrielle, David Jr., Kyle, Dara (Patrick), Desirae (Josh), Dianna (Jonathan), Danielle and Alex; and her brothers, Anthony Salamone (Ann), Lawrence Salamone (Carol) and Frank Bartucci. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Carmie's wishes were to have donations sent to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center.
