He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary R. Evans (Wegmann) of Marion, VA; his sister Myrna Brandt; his parents, Marjorie Evans of Runnemede, NJ. and Alvin S. Evans Sr. of Runnemede, NJ.; and his grandmother Hattie.
He is survived by: his children, Laura J. Kaighn of Williamstown, NJ, Edward A. Evans of Winston-Salem, NC, Alice N. Dippel (Allen Thomas) of Marion, VA, Sharon R. Evans-Bannon of Atkins, VA and E. Hope Bitner (Kenneth) of Marion, VA.; and his former wife Joan L. Evans (Daleus) of Mantua, NJ..
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Earle Funeral Home (122 W Church St, Blackwood, NJ 08012). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
