He was predeceased by: his parents, James D. McCann and Margaret [McGowan] McCann; and his wife Katherine McGovern. He is survived by:, Katherine [Daniel] Farrell of Westfield, Ind., Thomas M. [Debra] McCann, Jr. of Kendall Park, Kevin [Janet] McCann of Durham, NC and Steven McCann of Wallingford, Penn.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
