He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Strokis (Norland); and his children, Susan Clark (Roger) of Washington, Steve Strokis (JoAnn) of South Carolina and John Strokis (Maura) of Texas. He was also cherished by his six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
