It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth J. Delayo of Piscataway, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 23, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shaw and Helen Shaw (Peterson); and her husband Charles. She is survived by: her children, Charles (Anna) of Cranford, Michael (Renee) of Roselle Park and Ann of Somerville; her grandchildren, Alexandra, Joseph, Daniel, Michael and Madeline; and her siblings, Eileen Shaw and John D. Shaw, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations sent to Boys Town, (http://www.boystown.org) an organization that saves children and heals families or to the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, (http://www.scnj.org) a ministry that provides education and care to several dioceses within the US, El Salvador and Haiti.
