He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack II and Elsie Troupe (Sykes); his wife Bernice Troupe; his daughter Lavonne Shariff; his granddaughter Quadisa Shariff; and his siblings, Kemp, Emma, Robert, Connie and Gloria.

He is survived by: his children, Mack Troupe III, Rudine Troupe, Annette Troupe and Deborah Hough; and his siblings, Charles Troupe and Shirley Person. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church (372 Highland Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Franklin Memorial Park (1800 NJ-27, North Brunswick Township, NJ 08902).
