He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lyons and Gladys Lyons (Hennessey). He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Melanie Lyons of Piscataway and Kim Flynn (Greg) of Piscataway; his grandchildren, Ollie, Lexi, Izzy and Maddie; his siblings, Mary Ann Szymanski and Tom Lyons; his mother-in-law Mary Gross; and his sisters-in-law, Deb Langer and Linda Garza (Paul). He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews.
