He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Balint; and his parents, Anthony Cocco and Nora Cocco (Smith). He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Cocco and Lauren Mirota (James); his son-in-law Brian Balint; his grandchildren, Kelly, Taylor and Kayla Balint; his siblings, Diane Woods, Dorothy Nelson (Mike), Gary Cocco (Kathy), Anthony Cocco, Cheryl Cocco and Sandra Augustine (Jay); and his former wife Laura Peace. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Costello-Runyon Funeral Home - Metuchen (568 Middlesex Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:15 AM at the St. Francis Cathedral (32 Elm Ave, Metuchen, NJ 08840). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery.
