She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Cushing and Jean Cushing (Yoccodine); her parents-in-law, Joseph and Helen Berres; her uncle Charles; and her aunt Mildred Geoghegan.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary; her husband Joseph; her daughters, Lisa Rizzi (Liberato) of Clinton, NJ and Linda Kilponen (Todd) of Kinnelon; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda Rizzi, William Joseph and Anna Lynn Kilponen; her siblings, Evelyn Fornale (Thomas) of South Orange and Robert Cushing of North Charleston, SC; her godson Matthew Fornale; her niece Jennifer Pellecchia; and her goddaughter Rebecca Meyer (Reidinger). She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is kindly requesting memorial donations in Mary's name be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater NJ Chapter or to The American Cancer Society.
