With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Frances Chappell of Piscataway, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Oberwanowicz and Stella Oberwanowicz; her husband James Chappell; and her siblings, Irene Russotto and William Oberwanowicz.
She is survived by: her sons, James, Jr. and William; her grandchildren, Kristen, James, Madison and Chloe; and her great grandchild Natalia.
