He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Johnson and Nellie Johnson; and his wife Jean F. Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Jasper "Jay" Johnson, III and Wendy Johnson; and his siblings, Edith King, Alma Thomas, Laurence Johnson and Lydia Staton. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives.
