It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Potynski of Piscataway, New Jersey, born in Manville, New Jersey, who passed away on January 18, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Bukovecky and Metro Bukovecky; her husband Stefan Potynski; and her siblings, Vilma Sator, Anna Sator, Mary Demko, Margaret Zujkowski, Mike, John and Victor Bukovecky.

She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Hydro and Louise Esposito; her children, Janet (Peter Emanuel) of Sarasota, FL, Diane (Kenneth Johnsen) of Piscataway and Steven Potynski (Joyce) of Quakertown, PA.; her grandchildren, Stefanie Kreilein (Matthew), Matthew Johnsen (Sarah), Michael, Jordan and Jonathan Potynski; and her great grandchildren, Elsie and Theodore Kreilein.

Due to COVID concerns, there will be no services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Irene's name to St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Dunellen.
