Elizabeth Mernagh Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2024, Elizabeth Mernagh of Piscataway, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew (Sophie Christel) and NJ; her husband Eugene T. Mernagh; her son Lawrence Mernagh; and her grandson John Conry.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene A. Mernagh, Elizabeth Conry, Linda Mernagh and Thomas Mernagh (Nancy); her grandchildren, Marylar Mernagh, Michile Mernagh, Nicole Nietzer (Jesse) and Craig Mernagh (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Candy Forsythe, Amanda Darrow, Caden, Anna, Parker and Wyatt; her great great grandchildren, Peyton, Luca and Sophia; and her niece Nancy. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Piscataway Funeral Home (18 Stelton Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Matthew the Apostle (81 Seymour Ave, Edison, NJ 08817). A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the Resurrection Burial Park (899 E Lincoln Ave, Piscataway, NJ 08854).
In lieu of flowers, the Mernagh family has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), in Elizabeth's name.
