He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Miyagishima and Tokie Miyagishima; and his siblings, Glenn Miyagishima and Charlotte Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Sueko; his children, Rev. Corwyn Miyagishima and Christian Miyagishima (Danielle); and his grandson Ryan. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gustafson Home For Funerals (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Miyagishima family has requested that donations be made to Troopers Assisting Troopers (http://troopersassistingtroops.org), in Duane's name.
