She was predeceased by: her father Benjamin Kanzler; her husband Edward J. J. Power; and her brother Robert Kanzler. She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Power (Mike Benson), Maureen Kearns (Jack), Bonnie Badolato (Thomas) and Jenifer DiVirgilio (Ray); her brother Donald Kanzler (Judy); and her grandchildren, Michael of Lauren, TJ, John, Stacey, Caitlin, Maggie and Nick. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Middlesex College Foundation.
