It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Calheiros Correia Sr. of Piscataway, New Jersey, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Antonio Correia and Constancia Calheiros Correia; and his sister Gloria Calheiros Correia of Ponte. He is survived by: his wife Janice Aslund Correia of Piscataway, N. J.; his children, Donna Correia Best, Lisa Correia Decarvalho of Monmouth Beach, N. J., Daniel C. Correia Jr. of Monmouth Beach, N. J., Christina Correia of Piscataway, N. J. and Antonio Correia of Piscataway, N. J.; his grandchildren, Mark Best, Amanda Best and Alexis; his great grandchild Katelyn Best; his brother Alvaro Correia; his sister-in-law Lucia Abrue Correia of Elizabeth, N. J.; and his sister Maria Elena Correia.

Even during times of social distancing, anyone who has suffered a loss deserves love and support more than ever before.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory to the Alzheimer's association.
