He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Rivera. He is survived by: his mother Santa Jimenez (Amarilys "Gigi" Rivera); his children, Efrain Rivera, Jr., Brandon Lee Rivera (Kim), Jonathon Rivera, Ivelysse Velez and Nilsa Marie Velez; and his siblings, Daniel "Danny" Rivera (Wanda), Carmen Rivera (Harry), Jose "Joe" Rivera (Claudia), Luz Maria Rivera (Javier Menchaca), Mariam Rivera (Victor Delgado), Marilyn Rivera, Lisandra Alicea (Francisco) and Alex Rivera (Gladys). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
