He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Chard and William Chard; his siblings, Irvin, Earl Chard and June Thorpe; and his grandchildren, Eran, Caleb Brant and Christopher Chard.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Loren S. Chard, Jr. (Paula) and Kimberly Shute (George) of Carneys Point; his grandchildren, Laura Rothwein (Kenny), Gregory Chard, Joshua Brant (Alyssa) and Adam Brant (Mary); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Rothwein, Levi and Annabelle Brant.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in honor and memory of Loren to the Carneys Point Fire Department, 258 D Street, Carneys Point, NJ 08069.
