It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Smith (Pilesgrove, New Jersey), born in Shenandoah, Virginia, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Grace "Nancy" Ellen Smith; his sons, James E. Smith Jr. (Sandra) and Jeffrey H. Smith (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Sarah Eisner, Matthew Smith (Holly), Jackie Eisner-Calabrese (Matthew), Melissa Ward (Dennis), Eisner-Garton (Robert), Esther Modzelewski (Stephen) and Jeffrey "JP" Smith (Jamie).
