We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2024, at the age of 94, Gladys Jane Brown Pettit of Pilesgrove, New Jersey, born in Salem, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Kline (Davis) and Eugene Russell Brown of Jersey City; her husband Joseph; her granddaughter April; and her siblings, Elizabeth Kline Shimp, Jenny Zane and Howard Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Jane Van Klaveren (Adrian), Eileen Ann Pettit (Len Hankins) and Larry Joseph Pettit (Debbie); her grandchildren, Laura, Danny Van Klaveren (Katherine), David, Kevin George (Kathleen), Adam (Erin) and Amber Pettit; and her brother-in-law George Shimp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
