He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sr. Coles and Eleanor DeMaris Coles; and his brother Merton Coles. He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Cheeseman); and his children, Judy Halter (Irv) of Cathy, Carol Reynolds, Nancy Wilde (Jim), Edwin William "Skip" Coles (Stacy), Traci Dees (Thomas), Michael Maccarone (Shirley), Tina Kazanecki (Jim) and Lisa Locuson (Bryan). He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that donations can be made to Meals on Wheels of Salem County, PO Box 888, Elmer, NJ 08318 or Bayada Hospice, 600 Jessup Rd., Suite. 110 A., West Deptford, NJ 08066 in Mr. Coles memory.
