Ballentine, Carl A. Ballentine, Jr. and Walter B. Ballentine; his stepchildren, Kimberly Beamer-Venuto, Richard Beamer, Alan Beamer and Priscilla Beamer; and his siblings, Caroline Laspee and George Ballentine. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
