He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Carroll and Owen Carroll; and his siblings, Eugene, Alice and Patricia.
He is survived by: his brother John Carroll; his wife Alice Carroll (Seamon); his children, Noreen Crowley (Robert), Mark Carroll (Deborah), Brian Carroll and Suzanne Holup (George); and his former wife Joan Carroll. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
