He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lelko and Anna Lelko (Stefanick). He is survived by: his wife Maureen; his son Garrett (Tara); his grandchildren, Cameron, Avery and Ronald (Susan); his great grandchildren, Owen and Julia; his grandson Michael (Cassi); his great grandchildren, Mason and Sidney; and his sister Teresa Felicio (Jack Felicio).

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Michael's name.
