It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D Hinkel (Phillipsburg, New Jersey), who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Floyd Hinkel and Mildred Strahle Hinkel (James). He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Heiney of Bath, PA, James W. Strahle (Elaine) of Lopatcong Township and Joseph Hinkel of Nazareth, PA. He is also survived by three nieces; great-nieces; great-nephews; and cousins.

The family requests memorials to the American Cancer society.
