She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Shafer; her son-in-law Darrell Hummer; and her siblings, Jacob Shafer, James Shafer, Floyd Shafer, Minnie Gebhardt, Kathryn Shafer, Dorothy Jackman, Helen Misanik and Betty Foltz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Hummer of Glenwood, MD, Jackie (Glenn Hartson) of Brevard, NC and Susan (Dick DeWire) of Highlands Ranch, CO.; her grandchildren, David Ott (Stephanie Ott), Jamie Ott Chopra (Manan Chopra), Brett DeWire and Anne DeWire Fleming (James Fleming); her great grandchildren, Riley Ott, Ari and Elina Ott Chopra; and her sister Janet Schwar.
