He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank R. Oberly Sr. and Helen L. Mutchler Oberly; and his brother Edwin W. Oberly. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Schulte Oberly; his son Charles D. Wyant (Tizita Girma); his grandchildren, Samuel Matthew Wyant and Abyssinia Jane Wyant; and his great grandchildren, Brian, Jr. and Rebecca.
