He was predeceased by: his wife Althea E. Slaby; and his parents, Stephen M. and Mary C. Slaby. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul, Helen and Marie; his children, John Slaby, Patricia A. Jones and Barbara J. Haver; and his grandchildren, Christopher Jones, Melissa Maupin, Kevin Jones, Alysia Krause, Stephen Slaby, Kristen Grievo, Jennifer Haver and Alyssa Poinsett. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
