She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeffrey Ledet and Beatrice Ledet (Perez); her husband Virgil W. Gibbons; her daughter Joann Kerlin; and her granddaughter Tracy Moschera.

She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Snyder, Marlene Moschera and Karen Rehl (Louis Rehl, Sr.); her grandchildren, Jessica Stavropoulos, Louis Rehl, Jr. (Pamela Wilkerson), Adam Rehl (Jessica), William Snyder (Jenna), Jennifer Lamb, Forrest Kerlin and Travis Kerlin; and her siblings, Oscar Ledet and Bernice Nunez. She is also survived by her ten great grandchildren.
