He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Bottos Platia; his daughters, Deanna Platia-Bodner (Lewis) of Easton and Michele Platia of Daytona, Florida.; and his brother Charles Platia of Florida. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
