It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derl H. Maurer Sr. of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, born in Klingerstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Maurer and Edna Maurer (Fetterolf); and his wife Margaret Maurer. He is survived by: his sons, Derl H. Maurer, Jr. of Bethlehem, PA and James Maurer of Alpha, NJ; his grandson Kyle Maurer; and his sister-in-law Lydia Maurer. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
