He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gercie and Helen Gercie (Wackerman); his brother Robert Gercie; and his granddaughter Emily Jeffries. He is survived by: his wife Henny; his children, Carl, Jr., Colleen Weiss (Thomas), Melissa Yale (David) and Jeneen Jeffries (John); his brother Joseph (Marie); his half-brothers, Edward, George, James Wackerman, Richard Gercie (Brenda) and Donald Gercie; his grandchildren, Mathew Weiss (Lauren), Eric Weiss (Lesley), Kaitlyn Weiss, David Yale, Brandon Yale, Analisa Jeffries and Ian Jeffries; and his stepgrandsons, Jonathan Weiss and Jeremy Weiss (Aida). He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren; 3 step-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
