She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Mazi and Joseph Boyzat; her husband Kalman Kardos; her siblings, Arnold Bazat, Frank Vargo, Elizabeth Vargo, Paul Vargo, James Vargo and Rose Vargo; and her son-in-law William Kocher.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Kocher and Bruce Kardos (Donna); her grandchildren, Nicole Winowski, Derek Kardos, Jessica Gentile and Kellie Weaver; and her great grandchildren, Chase, Kennedy, Kane, Ashley, Grayson and Dylan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (664 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at the Alpine Cemetery (703 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861).
