She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosario César and Tiburcio Barrera. She is survived by: her children, María (Chuy) and Santiago; her grandchildren, Casandra, Ángel, Giovanni, Emilio, Ilona, Jeff and Itzayana; her great grandchildren, Isabella, Joshua and Giselle; and her sisters, Concepción, Susana, Juana and Ester Barrera.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home (419 Barclay St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima RC Church (380 Smith St, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Alpine Cemetery (703 Amboy Ave, Perth Amboy, NJ 08861).
