He was predeceased by: his parents, Guilhermino Magalhaes and Ana Fernandes; and his brother Guilhermino Magalhaes. He is survived by: his wife Maria Fernandes of Perth Amboy; his daughters, Monica and Solange Magalhaes; his stepdaughters, Julie Ferreira of California and Andrea Ferreira; and his siblings, Gervasio of Portugal, Miguelina Fernandes of Portugal, Margarida of Portugal, Antonio of Portugal, Emilia of Portugal, Domingos of Portugal, Teresa of Portugal, Amelia of Portugal, Manuel of Portugal, Ana of Portugal and Casimiro Fernandes Magalhaes of Portugal.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mitruska Funeral Home (23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
