He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michael Beitz, Sr. and Anne Beitz; and his sisters, Anne Shoblock and Mary Zaccardo. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his children, Eileen and Joseph (Christine); and his granddaughters, Alexandria and Alyssa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
