She was predeceased by: her parents, Justina Rivera and Luis Soto; her daughter Isabel Arroyo; and her siblings, Wenceslao, Marcela, Agustín, Teodoro, María and Julia.

She is survived by: her husband Gumesindo; her daughters, Cirila "Irma" Velez and Sue Arroyo; and her grandchildren, Brenda Ramos, Anthony Velez, Edward Velez, David Corujo and Brian Corujo. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
