He was predeceased by: his parents, Martina Rivera and Galo Rodriguez; his wife Carol J. Gordon; his former wife Lucy Harris Rodriguez; his stepson Joel Harris; and his siblings, Emilio Rodriguez, Jimmy Rodriguez, Angelica, Hipolita, Toña and Maria.
He is survived by: his children, Gala Rivas (Theodore), Lisa Almonte, Carmen Martinez and Frank Rodriguez; his stepson Micheal Harris; and his brother Cheo Rodriguez. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
