She is survived by: her husband Roberto Buendia; and her children, Mary Vega (Ruben), Jeanie Nieves, Helen Rivera (Carlos), Frank Barber (Sandra) and Alexander Tarrago (Marianna). She is also survived by grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
