He is survived by: his mother Josefina Mendez; his children, Angelica and Alex James Arroyo; his grandson Noah; and his siblings, Luis Mendez (Denise), Juan Arroyo Jr. (Jo Ann), Ivan Arroyo (Jeanette), Edwin Arroyo (Liz), Marilyn Arroyo, Cirila Velez (Felix) and Zoraida Arroyo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
