She was loved and cherished by many people including: her friend Ruth; and her children, John Vander Stad (Mary) of Oak Ridge, Sue Rose (Allan) of Wayne, Brenda Vander Valk (Steven) of Pompton Plains, Lisa Sniegocki (Michael) of Leesburg, FL, Ada, Hollander (Henry) of Fort Macleod, Alberta and Ruth Tanis (William) of Bloomingdale. She was also cherished by twenty-seven grandchildren and sixty-two great-grandchildren.
